The picture below shows Flare’s pilot assembly which consist of a thermocouple, spark cable and orifice. Use this to show how to change the Flare Pilot Orifice from Natural Gas to Liquid Propane. Make sure to verify proper inlet gas pressure.
Most Importantly turn off the unit and gas, once unit is off look for the pilot assembly. This is to make sure we are safely making adjustments.
Once the pilot assembly is located, loosen the pilot gas line and remove the original orifice. Replace the original with the recommended Flare orifice required for the current gas in use (Natural Gas or Liquid Propane.)
