Component Replacement – Natural Disaster Occurrence
If a power surge or natural disaster damages a fireplace that uses the SIT Proflame II Gas Valve System, the following components may need replacement:
Fireplaces with Safety Screen barrier with no Power Vent –
– Full Gas System (Valve, Receiver, Wiring)
– Pilot Assembly
– 110 Power Cable
– Ground Cable
– Wall Switch
– Jumper
Fireplaces with Double Glass barrier and/or Power Vent (including Screen with PV) –
– Full Gas System (Valve, Receiver, Wiring)
– Pilot Assembly
– 110 Power Cable
– Ground Cable
– DG Relay Cable (V4 or V5 depending on your fireplace serial number)
– DG Fans (if applicable)
– DG Fan Harness (if applicable)
– Control Board (V4 or V5 depending on your fireplace serial number)
– PV Cable (if applicable)
– PVHV Cable (if applicable)
– Power Vent (if applicable)

If water damage occurs, the following components may also need replacement (in addition to the components listed above):
– Burner(s)
– Orifice(s)
– Gas Line(s)
– Vent Pipe(s)
Please consult your local dealer team to determine exactly which components need replacement. The technician will need the fireplace’s serial number and pictures of the potentially damaged components. Alternative components will be needed if your fireplace does not use the SIT Proflame II valve system.
