The modern fireplace ideas on this page are not renderings. Every photograph is a completed Flare installation — more than 250 of them, most captioned with the exact model, so when something catches your eye you can tell your dealer or architect precisely what it is. Indoor rooms, indoor/outdoor pass-throughs and outdoor patio installations are all included.
Glass heights run 16″, 24″ and 30″. Sizes start at a 25-inch Front Facing and reach the 200-inch run in the Caymus Winery tasting room.

Choosing a glass height
Glass height is the dimension that changes the look most once the width is settled. At 16″ the opening reads as a long horizontal slot. At 24″ more of the flame and the media bed underneath it is visible. At 30″ the opening is close to square on the shorter units. The gallery has the same configurations photographed at different glass heights, so it is worth comparing them side by side before specifying one — the captions give both dimensions.
Reading the captions
Captions use Flare model codes, and the letters at the end are the glass height: R is 16″, H is 24″, EH is 30″. So FF80R is a Front Facing 80″ with 16″ glass, LC45H is a Left Corner 45″ with 24″ glass, and FF25EH is a Front Facing 25″ with 30″ glass. Quote that code and any Flare dealer will know exactly which unit you mean.
Certification
All units shown are certified and approved by CSA for installation both indoors and outdoors in North America, including in the states of California and Massachusetts.
