Frameless Linear Gas Fireplaces, 25″ to 100″

Flare’s Front Facing fireplaces are frameless linear gas fireplaces: the ceramic glass sits flush to the finished wall with no trim, surround or visible frame, so the fire reads as an opening in the wall rather than an appliance set into it. Lengths from 25″ to 100″ pair with three glass heights — 16″, 24″ and 30″ — giving 21 direct vent configurations for residential and commercial projects.

What Is a Linear Gas Fireplace?

A linear gas fireplace is defined by its long, rectangular viewing window — specified by length and glass height rather than by a traditional square opening. Flare’s Front Facing models are frameless, so no trim or surround interrupts the glass. Every unit is a direct vent, room-sealed appliance: ceramic glass separates the firebox completely from the room, and a double-pipe flue draws combustion air in from outside and returns exhaust the same way. Nothing is drawn from the room itself, which is what allows these fireplaces to be specified in tightly sealed modern construction.

Choosing a Length and Glass Height

Front Facing fireplaces are built in lengths from 25″ to 100″, each offered in three glass heights:

  • 16″ Regular — the classic long, low linear proportion. Available from 30″ to 100″.
  • 24″ High — more vertical flame presence without changing the footprint. Available from 30″ to 100″.
  • 30″ Extra High — the tallest window, and the height the optional Summit Burner is designed around. Available at 25″, and from 45″ to 100″.

As a rule, longer rooms and larger wall elevations carry the 80″ and 100″ units comfortably, while 25″ to 50″ suits bedrooms, studies and tighter feature walls. Glass height is the bigger visual decision: a 16″ window reads as a horizontal band, a 30″ window reads as a fire feature.
